Just got my 03 Black touring Z and love it, only thing thats bothering me is i cant decide which colors i want to use for the brake calipers and door handles...it also came with gold badges that im gonna take off, was thinking of replacing with black or chrome emblems...What do you guys think would look the best? i plan on painting the stock wheels black so i was thinking about red calipers and black handles...one of my friends suggested white calipers and white handles but im not sure .. tell me what you guys think!

 

Personally not a fan of black wheels on a black car but that's really up to you. If it's what you like then you should go for it.

As for caliper color ideas I've always really liked dark blue calipers. They look nice but are still subtle, don't stand out too much like yellow or red can sometimes.

Unless its the silver that they came with stock and because of rust issues.

 

feel like the black wont match the actual black of the car though

 

leave them alone unless considerable corrosion/staining shows.

 

that sounds more like a list of mods for a 1939 honda civic.(for those of you who remember that thread haha)

buy black wheels and if your gonna paint the door handles make sure its done right.
and ya dont paint your calipers. if you absolutely have too go black ha

 

with that being said, how about you do nothing until you can decide by yourself what to do with your car.

 

Im not really a fan of black rims either. I would go with chrome badges and handles, chrome rims and red calipers. I think thats the smoothest combo IMO.

 

chrome rims = major FAIL!

 

i hate painted calipers..but thats my opinion...if you want colored calipers spend alot and get real brake kits.

Dont go chrome or black rims...unless you really want to.

black wheels on black car with black emblems, doorhandle and tinted windows. i kinda dig it when ppl do that. get sum headlights and tails. sum ppl hate it but sum ppl love it. i dont know if i would want it. but its pretty badass when i see it. but please trash the gold emblems asap i didnt even kno that existed for a z
