Your Z will be fine. I drove mine from Arizona to Maryland, and back-no problems at all or since.

I took an 11 hour trip from New Orleans to Houston for the last storm... YES 11 hours to get to houston! but most of the ride was traffic though but as it seems the car can handle it.

I noticed this as well... I am only 23 years old with a perfect back and when I get out of the Z after a long drive or cruise my back is killing me.

6'3 180lbs. Trips of 2 hours or more are a bit uncomfortable, not bad though. Basically could be more comfortable but not horrible.

Do you gangsta pimp your seat? If so, change your position a bit more upright and it will help.

The Z is an amazing road trip car I did a trip earlier from WI to Bozeman, MT. Then south to Utah, back over to Denver, Mt Rushmore and finally home again. And I'm dying to do something like that again but gas and hotels are expensive.
