That A4 is pimp! What made you want to switch to the Z? I am trying to sell my 2002 Subaru WRX to get the Z. It's hard though doesn't seem like people are buying used cars as much these days. Especially when they can get a new car with crazy factory rebates or even 0% financing through some manufactures. By the way those pics are a bit too big IMO. You have Photoshop?

i think he means regular wrx, non-sti. i was thinking about selling my wrx for a z. i had a chance to sell my wrx for about 1k less than i bought it for recently but i backed out at the last minute. damm, i should have sold it and bought a z. oh well at least i have nice hi res pictures to remind of the z now.

Yea I figured he owned a WRX since he didnt specify. But I was just saying, if he's in the market for a car.....the STI looks very tempting. He should have the acquired taste for it already since he had a WRX

I did mention that I had a 2002 WRX. The STI's are only a 2004 model. There are many things I dont like about the WRX. The seats are so uncomfortable. My lower back hurt me for like two weeks when I first got it. And I am only 25 and dont even have a bad back. I have gotten used to the seats somewhat by now. Also the headlight styling has always sort of bugged me. The Z just looks so much better over all. Also the clutch on the 2002 WRX's is so stiff that it actually gets quite annoying and sometimes painful when I have to commute to work everyday. I have driven the STI and it is an amazing car. The seats are better the styling is better and the clutch is way smoother. The only bad thing which is also a good thing, is that much of the horsepower is around 4k rpm. So when I took it for a test drive I had to apologize to the salesperson becuase everytime I barley applied any gas the car would lunge forward. It would be great as a car someone likes to race, but not as an everyday driver. I bet the passengers would get motion sickness or something. Because of all the lunging. Maybe once you get used to the power it is more controllable. One of the main reasons I want to get a Z is that I feel that I want to return to the relaxing days of owning an automatic. I know buying an automatic Z is a sin. But I want performance and comfort at the same time. I have to drive a ways to work each day in traffic so the auto would really be helpful. The STI is a great car but I would probably feel kinda stupid to sell my car loose a **** load of money on it. And then just turn around and buy a car that looks practically the same with more horsepower. The issues on which car I buy next is not the money. I will drop 50k if I want. I just have a hard time deciding exactly what I want. So far I have looked at the BMW 330 the M3, Infiniti G35, and the STI. But I always seem to be coming back to the 350z. I dont really care about the back seat so thats not a problem. I just want to be happy. I am a very picky person so being happy may be hard to accomplish.

Damn. That's kind of dissapointing. You'll be very happy with the Z. Nice styling, comfortable, nice linear acceleration...seats you can fall asleep in

yea im a bit of a car audio fanatic. Most of the equiptment will transfer over to the Z except the screens well maybe one cause i have to trade the headrest and visors for stock ones + cash so i can sell the car as stock.

BoostTed, nice Z.

Looks just like mine (Silverstone Enthusiast also). Please don't put LCD monitors all over the Z though.
