Sorry, but I just wanted to rub it in on all you guys who are still waiting (especially those who preordered before April, when I did).

I just have to say the car is a PURE JOY to drive. The only problem is I'm worried I'll look like an idiot in it because of the enormous grin on my face while I drive.

The car is an attention getter, I went to a restraunt for dinner after picking it up at the dealer and parked it under a light where I could see it from inside. In the 1 hour I was there at least 25 people did double takes and walk arounds when they saw it (thank God everyone was nice enough not to touch it!)

ANyway, I'll try and post some pictures and a more indepth review tomorrow, if I manage to get out of it long enough to get on the computer.

 

Did you pre-order at Peachtree Nissan ? If so how was thier service and who was you salesman ?

 

Yes I did, service was great. It was their first Z to arrive (it came in this morning). They charged me exactly MSRP (but I did take the 60mo/100,000mi warranty & a Lo-jack which added to the price). This included a full professional detailing at no charge (NO PAINT PROTECTION FEE!).

They aren't giving very good deals on financing on it though (go figure) (and even though I have OUTSTANDING credit) so I ended up financing through my bank (at 5.45% for 72 months)

Just to put it in perspective, I live in Cobb County like 2 miles from Team Nissan, but I am SO GLAD I drove an extra 10 miles in rush hour traffic to Peachtree Nissan to order it there.

 

Oh yeah, sorry. My salesman was Curits (can't remember the last name)

ANd the car was the first one delivered to Peachtree Nissan, and now probably one of the first 4 or 5 on the road in Atlanta

 

I'm glad they treated you right. They seem to be honest there. That is where I ordered mine. I ordered on july 16. Probably won't see it until Jan.

Oh Finally! Someone with a Redline. Yes, please post pics when you have a chance. Also, I'd love to know your impressions on the color. As we all know, photos are a poor substitute for the real thing. How do you like the red?
