My new Z...
Yeah, I have pictures of the underbody and it's rust free. There is a slight bit of surface rust on the rear bumper, driver's side but nothing that can't be cleaned up and re-painted. Thanks guys!
Nope, not the daily. I had a 350z until about a week ago when I sold it. I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with a 3" lift and 31's. I have a fun winter car and a fun summer car,
. Only way to do it.

Ok, so it's in the garage now after leaving at 4:45PM yesterday and driving from IN to Middletown, NJ, picking up the car and trailering it back we got home around 10PM tonight.
The good news is the engine and tranny are super strong and I haven't even hardly gotten to get into the throttle on the car. It's pretty quick and that 305 puts out a lot of low end torque so it takes off like a champ. I drove it down the kid's street, turned it around and then put it on the trailer. It's getting a starter tomorrow so no more push starting. Then the real work will begin.
The car is in pretty decent shape but there are a lot of paint issues and from about 30 feet and closer you start to see the cosmetic blemishes. I have all of next week off so I'll be taking pictures of everything I do and probably tearing the whole thing apart and starting from scratch. Headlights and brake lights work but tail lights aren't working and neither are the turn signals. There are nice Cerwin Vega speakers in the car but no head unit, haha. So, basically, I'm going to be rewiring a lot of stuff and probably learning how to do some basic body work. Then I plan to get rid of all surface rust and sand the car down to bare metal and flat it for now since the wife won't let me spend big money on a nice paint job yet.
After the baby comes and/or I get a new job making more money then I will continue to update this thread. The best news is that the car is beautiful and is a real head turner. People passing us on the highway were looking at it like it's a Ferrari or something and when it gets fired up it sounds mean as hell. It's a ton of fun to drive, now I just need to get it registered and up and going so I can take it out and actually pound on it a little. Video to come soon.

Some pics of it in the drive way with the Jersey stickers off the windshield. Starter goes in tomorrow night and then hopefully I'll at least be able to drive it. Next week starts more stripping of the interior and cleaning everything up.

^Yeah I can see some of the blemishes, but I must say that this ride is still so frickin Clean it defies words.
I think people should take note that you don't have to put metallic flake in every single color. That paint is the shizzle.
Verdict: From paintjob, wheel choice, Gauge install, I say you have a super classy stealth setup.
MOAR pics of interior + sideview please!

Yeah, there are some dings and dents, but really not much rust at all. It's all surface stuff and I'm going to be working on that this coming week (I have the week off work,
). The interior is in surprisingly good shape too. I'm going to tear the whole thing apart, clean every panel and probably paint the tan stuff black (carpets are black but panels are tan, damn 70s, haha). I'll update with some more pics soon. I just can't wait until it's running. I've push started it and driven around for about 20 minutes and it's amazing how many looks this beautiful old car gets.
