if its auto, it cant be a base, performance, or track.

it has leather, cant be enthusiast.

brembos & 35th/06-08 wheels should mean it is a 35th anniversary edition

in my opinion it is a 35th. i would call your insurance company and ask them what your vin comes up as in their data base and go from there.
Actually, if I'm reading correctly, he said the car did NOT have 35th Anniversary floor mats.

This is extremely inaccurate. You might have anniversary editions and RHD models confused or something.

This is some of the best advice on here. I have a 35th, and when I read off the VIN to my insurance company I had to tell them which model I was looking at buying. The VIN isn't going to verify for the model for you; details will have to do the trick.

No, VINs do not carry this level of model detail. If you request an insurance quote, what is the next question after you provide the VIN? If it isn't about the model, then you aren't receiving an accurate quote. I know they always ask me.

when i went to the dealer i gave them my vin(dont remember why) and they read off that it was a track edition so yes they can tell from the vin what model it is. or the guy just threw a lucky guess out there

35TH anniversary edition

Brembos = 35th or track
Automatic Trans = NOT track model

Conclusion: 35th anniversary edition inwhich the floormats got dirty and replaced.

I have a feeling the trim levels of 350Z are not completely separate...

I have an '03 Enthusiast model, but it has EVERYTHING but the GPS/Brembos. So while technically its an Enthusiast, it pretty much has the options of something way higher

-18 inch wheels
-leather seats
-Burnt Orange colored seats
-cruise control
-6 CD player
-Bose sound system
-spoiler
-many other things I can't think of

Clearly, the guy who bought mine new wanted the Enthusiast model, but also requested leather seats, burnt orange seats, 18'' wheels & Bose sound system.

You guys should understand trim levels aren't set in stone, you can customize your car when you buy it new. And as far as checking VIN#, the CARFAX website won't show the options, but the dealership has a list ALL the VIN# and the exact car that matches up with them.

One way to check, the 35th Z side emblems are Gloss black Circle with a bronze/goldish ring and a silver Z. Regular Emblems are silver and flat black...

Yes, it did but, I believe that the 35th Anniversary models were also offered without the 2 tone in all of the available colors including SB.

Is the original poster even on here reading this anymore? I think we've established it's probably an Anniversary edition, but to be sure he needs to check on some of these details.
