Default Base or 35th anniversary?

I searched, couldnt find what im looking for.

Anyway im new, i just got an 05 Z recently. Black, 35th anniversary 18s, brembo brakes. leather, cruise control (no other controls on steering wheel), VCS button and i think thats it.

So i took the VIN to the dealer, he looks at me all confused and says its a base, but a 35th anniversary. So i ask which is it, he says same exact thing a base 35th anniversary.

So now im confused and dont know what to think, which one is it?

What wheels does the car have? Picture would help. What color is it? There were only three colors on the Anniversary. Do you have TPMS?

With leather and Brembos it sounds like a 35th Anniversary.

From looking at the wheels, it looks like the 35th anniversary, but at the same time it could be a track model and they added '06-'08 wheels. You might want to take a look at the Z side markers, I believe it has a different color. And most 35th doesn't have the splash guards, you might also want to check the build date on the side of the driver's door, most anniversary models are built around April. My '05 (non-anniversary) was built on 10/04. Carfax will probaly help and if all fail, call Nissan. In the end, I say 90% chance you have the 35th.

by the way i forgot to mention its an automatic... so its not a track

i know it all is exactly like the 35th but what bothered me is that the dealer said that the VIN shows up as a base. I was just wondering if there would be any details that would show for sure its a 35th.

One more question, are the regular brakes alot different then the brembos?

what are you talking about? he has leather, brembos,35th floor mats, and 35th wheels and he might have an enthusiast? the question was base or 35th

in my opinion it is a 35th. i would call your insurance company and ask them what your vin comes up as in their data base and go from there.

I could be wrong but I don't believe the VIN indicates what model the Z happens to be. This car appears to be a 35th Anniversary Edition.
