Does anyone's cruise control set light intermittently blink/flash?

For me, if I'm driving along, it seems like sometimes when I hit bumps, the set light goes out briefly and comes back on. I've got no hands on any of the cruise control buttons and switches. Loose connection somewhere?

Anyone else's do this? The manual doesn't seem helpful yet mine doesn't sound like it's got the symptoms of the system malfunctioning as they mention...
