I got a great deal on my car. I got a 2003 350Z Enthusiast w/ Burnt Orange leather, the leather cost me an extra 800 bucks, trunk mat, floor mats, 'mudflaps', free handwashes and waxing with each scheduled oil-change and a case of that detailing stuff the dealers use for 27,900. By the way, the car was delivered with 6 miles on the odometer and the little plastic wrap still on the aluminum pedals :-) So, I guess, minus the leather it was $27,100.

The autotrader doesn't have any Z's for less than $28,900 used right now. They are mostly Touring models though.

Most used Zs for sale have high asking or reserve or starting prices. Seems like most people selling them dont understand that this is a mass produced vehicle with a ton of them on the used market. I guess it doesnt hurt to ask? Later.

For those of you who posted. You need to state if you financed or paid cash. There is a difference. If you finance they can lower the price but make it back on financing. Actually you would be paying price of car + tax and license + interest.

OOPS mistake, that was $27,250, not $28,250...

Of course people ask for a lot but what people ask and what they are getting is so far off its not even funny. Why would someone want to buy a used EnthuZiast for $25K or over when a new one is just a couple thousand more?

Must be nice. A lot of us "had to have them first" and went out and paid a premium weather we wanted to or not. My enthusiast with options and leather was 33 over a year ago. Vin 204.

Thats okay though. I bet they got so many looks when they were brand new. And even though I got a deal on mine if I had waited for winter I would have just found a used one for dirt cheap. I dont think thi sis a competition but think that for prospective buyers that this info in invaluable.

People asking for high prices is what would keep them up. IMO it would be very stupid to ask for a low price, that alone will lower the resale value of our cars weather or not is is mass produced.

Supply and demand, come on people! DEMAND!

No one is buying these Zs for these high prices. Check out eBay and the reserves or starting bids people are setting. People are expecting to much money out of a used Z with 10,000 miles on it. The car is not apreciating in value, very few cars do. I aint saying you should ask for a low price but just have a realistic outlook on what the car is worth. Looking around the net I think the demand for used Zs is well below the supply. Anyway, later.

That dealer is pulling your leg. It is a demo with plenty of miles on it. This is how they get you in and then they will start trying to sell ya on a new one for $29K. Id call first.
