Question How do I tell what model I have? base, track, enthusiast?

First off I'm asking for help and ideas... If you dont have something constructive or helpful to say just keep it to yourself. This forum is FULL of negativity.

I bought a 2003 350z off this forum a few months ago and the dude told me it was a touring model. Well I didn't know much about Z's and just listened to him. After owning the car for a bit I like it but arnt these cars suposta be positraction? I do not have a traction control button. I hate that I cant get both tires to spin to drift. Is there an easy fix to make it posi?

Also the car has Corbue racing seats so I dont know if it ever had heated seats. But it does have wires and plugs under the seats where they use to hook to the stock seats. So I'm thinking they used to be electric atleast.

The door switches have been removed I have no idea why. Like the switch that makes the dome lights come on... Anyone know why they would remove these on both doors? The plugs are in there but the switches are removed.

The car just has basic brakes it seems.

here is another pic if its possible at all to tell by a picture...

Who on the forum did you buy the car off of? Do you have cruise control switches on your steering wheel?

I'm telling you... Anyways.

You can tell what kind of Z you have by the VIN number. Take that to the dealer or call them; give them the VIN and They'll tell you what Z you have.

The steering wheel has cruise switches but they dont work.. the Z on the steering wheel seems to be pried off.. I dont know why. They are the only switches that do not work in the whole car tho.

This is the only pic I have.. see the Z someone tried prying it out.. but the cruise switches are there...

See the coin holder right behind the shifter there? Behind that coin holder should be the switches for the heated seats. If you had the touring model, the seat heater switches would be there.

You must refer to yours as the ash tray? Or is it missing all together?

Behind the driver's seat, is there an opening for the factory Bose subwoofer or is it just a blank plate? Or was that removed/modified as well?

So base model = no posi?

whats the easiest way to fix this? change the clutch packs in the rear end? I hate trying to take off fast against another car and 1 tires spins if I turn even the slightest bit. Already tried friction modifier.

You don't have LSD hence the peg leg burnouts. Only way around this is to get aftermarket LSD. There are numerous companies out there. You could get the factory 350Z LSD form a junked/salvaged model which would probably save you money, but there are better ones out there.
