The M3 is seriously sweet. The things that tipped me against it are:

1. Too expensive
2. Styling is just a tad too conservative
3. The uninformed mistake it for a 325

But if I had the money I'd've gotten one. :OD

nice choice on the m3. if youve got a family it makes sense. now for the off topic part of my reply, not to anyone directly, i hate when i hear people downing hondas. i've been in the honda scene for a few years, watching it grow. people for some reason will never respect them. i agree for the most part about alot of youngsters giving them bad names but i hate when i hear people calling our exhausts coffee cans. sorry for long post but i just want to let everyone know im on the underdogs team this time round.

If a honda is done cleanly and it's done nice, then more power to them and I'll respect their car. If they slab their car together and make it look like it belongs in a video game, then I'm not going to respect that car or driver...

When it comes to cars, this is my priority list:

1. Price
2. Performance
3. Value
4. Style

I consider style last, so it doesn't make any difference to me if somebody mistakes it for a 3-Series or if it's too conservative. However, you're exactly right, 350Z is a lot sexier than the M3. If you ask me, most German cars aren't much to look at to begin with.
No doubt about it, you get more bang for your buck with the 350Z. M3 costs twice as much and you don't get that much more bang. Call it the law of diminishing return, I don't know... But, one thing is clear, both cars are still worth every last penny.

On the same note, I was getting off my school campus today....happens to be in the neighborhood of one of San Diego's most expensive places to live. All around us there were Jaguars, bland S500's and 5-series driven by your typical mid-age suburbianites.
Then rolls up this drop-top S2000 and you could totally distinguish which car was the sexiest. All the older guys in their 50kplus cars were totally checking out this "honda" and giving him thumbs up. It was one of those magical moments where the brand badge of your car didn't mean squat ...and the pure enthusiasm of having a fun/awesome car was all that mattered.

Every brand/car has bad owners that have no tastes...i mean just check out that one Ronald Mcdonald 350Z that was on the threads a couple months ago. I've seen the most prestigious cars get mutilated by a tasteless owner. Being that Honda is so affordable...it gets victimized by all walks of life.

It was a nice draw, glad to see it was appreciated in it's raw form.

*Mikestro hopes for Lor part II*

Talking

My Opinion:

1. Price; clearly Z
2. Perforamnce: Mustang Cobra unless $$$ are meaningless.
3. Value: Probably Z or Honda, we will see.
4. Style; everyone has their own varied opinion. I personally like some of the American Cars (Cobra and Crvette) bt I am 56 and my son who is a GM Tech said go for te Z. Based on the compliments I have received he was right.

Well I guess that depends on what your definiton of" clean" and "nice" is. As long as my car is looking good to me thats all I care about, and just because I dont like someones car I would still respect that car and the driver...at least thats how an adult would think.

Hey that M3 is a gorgeous car paper tiger...I think you made a great choice..but the most important thing is that you are happy.

Nice jab
What I was trying to say that if somebody just completely destroys they're car; I won't respect the work they put in...

man, I thought we already settled this "age" issue... When we refer to respect, we mean that we don't respect how much time/money they spent on their car to make it look/sound the way it does, not that we don't respect the person driving the car..<---- atleast thats how an intelligent adult would think.

But its ok, I wouldn't expect you to understand that anyways.

I think JPizzle is smarter and more articulate than most teens, and he explained what he meant much better than your rambling attempt at being his PR man.

You don't pay twice as much for the M3 over the Z for the increase in performance alone. You pay for it for the increase in performance, quality, refinement and technology. That's like saying a Z owner payed the extra 14K for their Z over an SRT-4 for the increase in performance (if there even is an increase). No, the Z is a FAR nicer car than the SRT-4.
