What have you done for your Z today?
113,xxx, i was debating if i should or not but i just end up going with the high mileages cause im over 100,000. maybe next oil change ill switch back to regular. thanks
ehh i got it off a member for a fair price and paint was on the house by my local body shop. in the classifieds there are plenty of vendor that sell this common wing and as for the paint it should cost around 400$ painted and installed
finally got my extenders covered up. couldnt get the 2nd pair of grommets in at the top because the hole was already just a little larger than the hole. i'll probably put them in later. also removed my splash guards (sorry for the blurry pic) to make the car flow a little better.

went to a local fabric store and bought some black vinyl for the strut bar cover. took out the z emblem and covered the strut cover with the vinyl. came out better than i expected for my first try.

total cost $4

What are you going to do with the "Z" emblem you took off? Mine's cracked from previous owner...
Over the weekend:
1) Finished installing the coil overs (theyre not adjusted or tuned yet, just in). I had the rear shock stud shear issue, took me forever to try and drill it out and cold weld a new bolt in. Turns out titanium bits are ineffective, i got a Cobalt bit (the type of metal; not the brand) and it went through it in sub 5 seconds.
2) Picked up a set of authentic RPF1 limited edition black with CF centercaps. 18x8.5 et40 (i know, toot high but a spacer will fix it) in 235 tires F and 18x9.5et22 in 275 tires R. Tires are Sumitomo HTRZ-3

Installed Fidanza aluminum flywheel, hd slave and south bend TZR clutch. Thank you joe at Z-Speed for all your help. I don't think there is much more you could of done other then installing it yourself.
Drove the **** out of it at Nelson Ledges - turned 124,000 at about 115 MPH on the back straight. Got about the last good wear out of the rear tires - ordering new skins today in anticipation of the Z Nationals and Barber Motorsports track day in 2 weeks. Buddy just installed some R-Compounds on his Track wheels and is going to let me try them out while we are there. Woot!
