Stihl gas leaf blower. I picked this method up on autopia.org detailing forums and it helps reduce surface marring and scratches when drying your paint. If you have excellent coverage of either a paint sealant or wax the water will literally fly off when you dry it... afterwards you can take a waffle weave drying towel and blot the left over beads of water off.

I tried taking pic's on my phone but they came out too dark because the sun was going down.

yes it does... just a friendly piece of advice.. no gas blower go buy cheap electric.. the gas blower will spit fumes out that condense on the car... I'm a detailer and that's a great website.. keep up good work

The gauges look sweet, no doubt. But in my opinion, they're too expensive and too much work for the money and the amount of ppl that see them. Basically, IMHO they're a waste of money.

New member here so take it easy on me ,I bought my 03 touring a couple of months ago and just finished upgrading my front bumper to the newer 06+ version yesterday , i also upgraded to the OEM 06+ headlights (they were a real steal at $165 for the pair) , installed the gf210 springs, pioneer double din also went in , blacked out the emblems , painted a couple interior pieces and i had a friend was trading in his Z so he traded his OEM five spokes for my stock 17"s , i know i need spacers but i havent had the time to get to it , anyways , i just wanted to say that all the installs ive done them myself with the help of the forum and the great info here

Looking for '03 - '05 OEM Halogen headlights if anybody is selling any. I have '05 Halogen headlights that are now black-housing with the HID conversion. I'm going a different route with my Z. If anyone is interested in a trade, PM me.

And yes, I know this isn't the correct thread!

Got all the hydro dipped interior pieces in yesterday. Super excited. Go to start putting things back together. Can't find my OEM radio brackets to put on the new Kenwood player. Wait, I returned the first Kenwood for this upgraded model. Oh no, I f-ing put the OEM brackets in the returned Kenwood box like a D.A. Call Bestbuy. No luck. Call Nissan today, $72.00 for 2 small metal brackets. Can't put interior back without them. Have to order and pay. $72.00 wasted on a part I should of had and have to hold off on putting it back together.

Have a link to said 2 small metal brackets? When I bought my Z it had no stereo and I now have a Kenwood DDX470 to install and must need these as well because I don't see anything to mount it to.

They aren't that expensive honestly. I got the new faces from black cat customs for $130. Then I mailed them to Bob Hickey at gauge craft. He charged me $200 to do the conversion. Took about a week total. Gotten tons of compliments already. They make a huge difference. But I hated the stock orange color. PM me if you want more details.
