Guess I'll post this.

Went to Z Nationals over the weekend. Had a fantastic time and was no less than Z Car Heaven for 3 days. I entered into the car show, really just because I thought my friend was entering too.
There are 69-89, Z32, Z33 and Z34 divisions, with a "stock" and "modified" category for each. I somehow came out with this, wasn't expecting it at all....

Our group knew something was up when they started filming the promo in front of my car.

It was bitter sweet though, came home with a nice 4 inch scratch down my side skirt from attempting to enter a car wash before the show. Just another money sucker for the Z.

Also, there are a good amount of you common goers on here that I don't think came. Everyone needs to come out next year! It's a blast and they give out raffles for free prizes. No joke, my friend ( think his sn on here is Steve-o Z33) won this......

Akebono big brake kit , Exedy clutch & flywheel kit

$3,500 worth of the best quality you can buy.

What are the cosmetic mods on your car? Do you have any pictures of the interior? What kind of wing/spoiler is that? I love that look.

The exterior is the stock Nismo body and spoiler. For the most part the exterior is all stock. I've done a few enhancements such as lower on the coilovers, powdercoated the rays wheels, shorty RDX antenna, couple of decals for a few HP, spiced up the lights with the stealth turn bulbs and clear reflectors, etc etc etc.

Interior includes:
Defi boost gauge
Defi oil temp gauge
Innovate wideband gauge and monitoring system
Partially gutted rear trunk
Nismo Edition two-tone seats
Nismo floor mats
Nismo GT titanium shift **** (FTW)
Kenwood DNN990HD touchscreen Navigation / radio
Custom carbon fiber hydro-dipped center console
Axxess remote steering wheel controls

I did have the entire center waterfall hydrodipped in a custom carbon fiber but being indecisive I switch it back to stock and now am looking into a alcantera project with TopSpeed Motorsports.

I think one of the reasons I won is how clean and "new" it looks. I've repurchased many interior items and refurbed / hyrodipped others. Much to my pain, OCD, time and $$$$$$$$ it looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

Here is my facebook build album which is public:
https://www.facebook.com/ted.haire/m...7574970&type=3

And here are a few examples of the interior:

Here's a crappy phone video of the interior with the newer Kenwood navigation / gauges and without the hydrodipped center piece.

Edit: This navigation unit is absolute baller status. It's the best unit you can get and actually is internet capable through a mobile cellpjhone hotspot. The layout and design is flawless. It was a lot of $$$$ but I'm glad I made the investment.

LOL. Ted beat me to it. I won the akebono kit with upgraded rotors, custom powdercoating, etc. Also won an exedy stage 1 clutch/flywheel combo. Just ordered my chromoly pivot ball and some ATE brake fluid. Gonna be awesome once I get time to install all of this stuff.

I also need to install my urethane subframe/diff. bushing. Looks like I'm gonna have a busy weekend soon!

I concur. But seriously, need pics of the NSX. It's my opinion those are some of the best production cars ever made. How does it drive? Differences from the Z?

Fresh rotors. Pics of the old, in progress and fresh new meat to stop me at the track. Once again Todd over at TCE Performance took care of my braking needs.

Fresh rotors again, hopefully I get to brake the in before I park the car for a year.

Yes I spelled brake incorrectly, pun intended.

^^^ Looks great Len. I've seen the safety-wire job done on off-road applications for my friends' Class 1 trophy buggy. Hell they safety-wire everything they can lol
