What a weird place to get a scratch, have you recently removed your rear bumper for anything?

I'm wondering if someone threw a shopping cart at my car while I was parked far away from other cars. Because, you know, there are people like that out there that have no respect for property and resent what others work hard to keep nice.

OUCH!!!! That is just f'd up, Smooth!!

I can relate... my poor '03 has been the victim of assaultS many a time over the last few years. Rear bumper, various door whacks and a nasty scrape on the side of the front bumper - I believe from one of them tractor things that pick up yard cuttings. Pretty sure the side ***** on the side of the five-foot tall tractor tires made contact as it pulled in to pick up stuff.

Oh, and neighborhood kids with their bikes and scooters. Fehhhhh....

Yeah, some miscreant people have little regard for others' property. But what's a person to do? We no longer park our vehicles in front (but for the Volvo), all are now garaged or parked in the driveway (at the rear of our house).

Good luck fixin' that nasty scratch!

Mic

My front wheels are curbed up pretty bad by the prior owner. One has a big 2x4" area of clear coat missing/peeling, the other has 2/3 of the outer lip lined with nasty rash, and some face scuffs as well.

Not a huge deal, but it just irks the f*ck out of me walking up to my car. That and I always look at curbed wheels as a sign of negligent drivers, which I'm not.

Saw these locally and had to snag them. Guy put some nice TE37 reps on his Z and I assume these were sitting around. A little dirty which is to be expected, but for $300 I couldn't beat 'em.

Jesse sniffing for bends/cracks at midnight after my long four hour journey after work.

Time to clean them up!

Scrubbed them down royally, clayed, waxed, and protected.

Stoked .

Damn, that looks great. I'd be afraid to put tires on them since they look so clean.

I use the Meguiar's Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner. Always seems to do a good job lifting stuff without hurting the clearcoat. I like it

Liquid Glass, then Zymol Cleaner Wax in the blue bottle, smells like Bananas.
