I have a v1 installed.. Bought his latest edition in the last group buy.. He also sent me the revision upgrade parts to turn my v1 into the highest revision for that build.. V3 I think? Will be for sale in a few months when I take it out to swap. Just keep in mind etc.
Depending on price, I may consider that over a group buy scenario.
This is an instance when I wish I was wrong, but our cars are getting older and are getting treated more like civics with the younger generation rolling in. I love go fast goodies but products like the rjm pedal just make the car more enjoyable.
Yeah, that's an upsetting thought. Time to step up to a Corvette.
I used to think I wanted go-fast upgrades until I actually started tracking my car and that turned directly to suspension, cooling and aero. The car is actually quite fast on a road course. Although, the clutch feel is one thing that makes me nuts on a daily basis.

Taking off from first it takes two clutch actions sometimes. It becoming too jerky so I put it back and slowly pull out again ( wow that sounds bad lol)
Yeah, I agree there. I feel like an *** in traffic when I do that. You get the jerk, wait for the revs to drop and try again. I look like a dork driving a ricer civic after 4 years of this Z.
In Nissan's defense, I dont feel the clutch is AS bad with the OEM dual mass flywheel/ dual spring pressure plate. It was totally (not pleasant) different with an "upgraded" clutch/ FW.
I really don't think the stock clutch set up is that bad for daily driving, will say that upgrading the full hydraulic system and pedal assembly makes a huge difference. At least with the pedal you can adjust the on/off feel to get a window for engagement, or if you are like me with a long host of medical issues you can make the pedal much lighter.

Rusty, I *THINK* they've got HRs (I could be wrong) and I have to agree... hated the clutch engagement on my Z33 Niz, even with pedal adjustment (non-RJM). Engagement on my '03 is stiff but even; and oddly, my Z34's clutch was great comparatively.

The Z34 clutch is way better. I had both cars for about a year, switching every few days.
adjusted ride height. absolutely enjoying my isc coilovers.
also after 2.5 years with the nismo I still frequently have jerry 1st take off. surprised clutch still functions.
Yeah, yeah, I know... "So, uhhhh, Mic, what's the diff?"
After putting on 1" narrower wheels than I usually run, and despite offset difference, the RPF1s with same sized tires I run on 10.5s juuuuuuust didn't look right to me and it's been bugging me to no end; despite them fitting/working just fine.
Put on my 5mm slip-ons and all is right with the world now. Now that's obsessively compulsive.
See what you have to look forward to when you're "done" with your car? Laff...
