Agreed. I feel like I could do it but if I couldn't then I'd be getting a parted out car towed!! Lol.
I plan on doing the lower plenum, valve covers and spark plugs and seals this spring. Even that worries me.

O deff not brave, just got this heap so I could take it apart and know what things I would actually want to tackle.

buying a 209k mile G to take apart is a pretty good learning experience. I have all these great ideas to clean all the aluminum pieces up then reinstall on my Z but thats probably not happening.

Also had the idea of using the wiring harness for a wire tuck, my motivation was high when I picked this thing up... The more I dig the less motivated I get. These are not that easy to work on.

Pulled the diff and replaced the bushings. Started the ARP studs while the rear bushing is in the freezer.

So glad I don't have to do smog. Good luck, Len.

^^^ Cut came out great, man. Going to replace the stock crash with a tube bar?

Lucky you have a black Z, you don't have to tape-off/black-out certain portions to make it look clean like I had to.

Thanks, I went through 4 ecus last year thanks to a ground short from the engine to the chassis. Oops.

Thanks! I think it looks alright I guess haha. Will look much better with a proper diffuser back there. I'm just deleting the EVAP system. I have an UpRev cable on the way, going to have Hal just disable EVAP features/codes on the car. Not likely to run a bash bar, but time will tell.

Thanks, man! I think I cut it a bit higher than I wanted to, but oh well. I'll be running a custom diffuser, so it won't be seen most likely. In fact, I'll likely remove it for the track, so not too worried about it. But in the case that I do keep it, I will just paint it black.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing that diffuser, planning on a low-profile one eventually myself since it's my dd and I hate all of the "street sharks" out here in SoCal.

Ahh, I didn't know that was an option in UpRev to disable EVAP codes, I have a tuner cable myself, I'll take a look at it later on. If so, I can just remove it. It just looks odd with it in the corner hanging there lol.

Yeah, I'm sure that gets annoying. I may drive it on the streets every so often. Maybe... not sold on it just yet either haha, it sucks to drive on the street as is.

Yeah it's an eyesore, that's for sure. I'm checking with Hal right now to see if they'll disable my EVAP codes for me. I also need to have my downstream O2 sensor codes disabled haha.

Removed the boat anchors known as brembo brakes, also removed some front suspension...

Also froze my *** off... Z stayed tucked away under its cover.

Also found out my stock 16 inch spare does not clear rear brembo... Thus why I ended up removing them all.

Good luck selling it, man. I hope a fellow enthusiast picks it up for a good price, I'm sure most of the kids out here won't pay what you're asking.
