Just ordered a Tomei Expreme exhaust, Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers, and a Transgo valve body upgrade kit! Exhaust will be installed next week and currently looking for a y-pipe.... leaning towards the Motordyne.

 

Can you please post a picture? I'd really like to see how it looks.

Damn $1000 for a y pipe back exhaust is steep... Probably not getting the matching y pipe because it's $600 more...

I'm thinking to get the Motordyne for the option of having a resonator. But Tomei has done their homework so I haven't completely crossed it off the list... just want to keep my options open for now. The whole catback is 40lbs. lighter than the factory setup which is a big plus.

 

Yeah price is somewhat of a factor for me as well.

I would LOVE to pick up the momentum... but I don't think VA inspection will like it

Chiming in, I love my Tomei exhaust. The exhaust notes are beautiful. Then again, I don't hear it too much past 4k because of my wastegate. But from what I can hear of it - I highly recommend it.

Not at all. I'm also in a pretty rural area, so there are a lot of diesel trucks with loud exhausts.. so the local PD doesn't really care too much to be honest. Though, according to my father, he can hear me quite a few blocks away.

 

I really want to trade my Motordyne for a Tomie

Kicked the off-center hamburger off of the hatch. Luckily, whoever "fixed it" filled the holes.



Doesn't help it look any better. I really need to source a new hatch. Yay for dents.
