What have you done for your Z today?
LOL no decals sir, all airbrushed. The kid and his dad want a project\show car to tinker with. It was fun but I have had the car since it was new in 04. I bought a vette a couple years ago and this thing just sat collecting dust. Lots of dust. It was fully sponsored vehicle when I ran it in the show circuits.

I just remembered it comes in chrome/carbon and titanium as well as polished and black.

If the Z is a chick magnet, how in the... just nah. The only attention I get is from kids telling their friends "what a cool Lamborghini that is" and kid n.2 replies with "no that's a Macleran GTR" so uhm... dunno what that's all about. I guess if you're a pedo you're golden!

And the dudes in R35's who stare at you at intersections grinning in a "look at that poor mothawannaflubber I'm better than you" -kinda way.

Anyway I finished up my Pioneer install with the HDMI/USB stuff needed for Appradio/Mirrorlink/Carplay, installed the GPS antenna and microphone. Aaaaand I changed out the gear ****. Is it just me or does the stock shifter in "euro" spec perforated Burnt Orange leather look like a ball sack? I put a black Nismo with a Z1 alu finished in there instead. Sorry for no pics, I'm at work pretending to do stuff.

I get more attention from wildlife than I do people.. Except for this old guy who hangs out at this diner I go to some mornings for to-go coffee that tells me EVERY TIME I SEE HIM that my car looks fast just sitting there. Its been ten times now and I'm like

. And then there's the girl at the brewery who tells me she really likes my car and that she has to treat me differently now. I was hoping for free IPA's, but it didn't work out like that. 
i said the same thing, didnt even make it a year. i did intake, heads, headers, and a tune (the heads was because of the ls7 dropped valve issues). then six months later did the Doug Rippie Bilsteins, another six months and Borla ATAK was put on. i really want to cam it, but not while it is a daily

the c7 still hasnt grown on me, especially the Z06. it went from an enthusiasts car (fixed roof, manual only, etc) to convertibles, auto, etc. i get why they did it though

Wrapped my interior parts matte white to match car
Wrapped my Gauge pod, shifter area, steering wheel controls and cubby matte white to match my exterior.

What are your thoughts on the Mid-engine design for the C8? I am assuming the mid-engine will be reserved for the Z06 badge for the first few runs.
i think they need to do it if they want to up the power, with my car being so light i spin 1st-3rd with ease. i have a feeling they will label it the zr1, but rumor mill on corvetteforum seems to think it will be a cadillac
I've seen the caddy spy shots too... but more so the prototype with the vette lines. If they badge it a Cadillac they will do some damage to the brand for sure. Yeah you are right about the ZR1... I always forget about that model since its few and far between with the limited runs. Shame...

Enough corvette talk. I'm struggling right now within about keeping my z, getting a new short block and some kind of forced induction.....or selling it and buying a c5 and supercharging it. Why a c5? I'm not a big fan of the c6 and don't want the payment that goes along with a c7.

Woo Been a long time since i've been back....
Still got the 2003 Performance, 59+ change K.........
Drove her to work, and it's been raining in NJ. She's finally seen rain since 2009.....
wiped her off and she's still sparkling Kh3.
