I'd like to see how it looks in the trunk, thanks!

Default The Labor Day Weekend in the Garage Alone

Hello, been gone for a while, but I been doing the grind life. And other things, anyway, I'm dropping off some nice pictures (to me at least) of my weekends.

Spent hours pin-pointing the positioning of the canards onto the Astek N-3R bumper. This was the first side, hence many markers to translate into data for me to mirror it for the other guy.

Less marking, since now I have the datas, I used a tape ruler and prayed for the best. I'll say it's not 100% perfect, but being my first time, I am very proud how it turned out and did my up most best.

Lifted, and proceeding to work on the rear.

Gorgeous image. . . had finished installing the side-spiltters from Type Zero.

Mounted the diffuser alone, with the help of a pizza box and some cable ties to hold it, I got it on there. What a pain I tell you.

Iffy about the tow hook strap, I'll see how I feel about it. Also the Quick-Release is installed to help close the gap between the bumper and the fender. Lighting wasn't good in this image.

Hope you guys had a good labor day weekend.

I finally got to wake her up after 3 days of resting. Drove her to school, going to put a new front badge on it hopefully today because the person I bought it from claimed it was stolen.

When you drilled the holes that meet with the fender, did you make deep indents around the holes? Also I replaced the plastic nuts that connect the fender n bumper and that cleared up the small gap I had. Just a thought. Canards look great~

Ha! I was going to do that yesterday, but it was too hot outside to deal with taking everything apart. Next weekend, for sure. 2nd window motor in 2 years. I'm so thrilled.

Default What have I done?..

I was number 20 in line with a 45 min wait to get $28 worth of gas. I was below 1/8 of a tank when I got in line.

Florida is not a fun place right now

Sorry for the late reply. I had actually done that before doing the quick-release since I wanted a "clean" look but the problem was that the Astek bumper I bought is second-hand. The corner hole on both sides are snapped off. I don't know what the previous owner did. But I went with it so close the gap, it had bothered me about it. Could have gone to a shop, but I don't have too much money to throw around.

Also, the canards I think goes nicely on the Nismo V3/Astek front bumper, which I don't see enough people doing. I am looking at that front view, and am convinced that I messed up on the driver side canards. It looks uneven. Will have to redo that, but when my header wraps/Greddy rad. cap. comes in.

Replaced driver side window motor with an Ebay cheapo. Works great after resetting it using instructions from this site.

Replaced the hatch struts with Strong Arms. Awesome product. Highly recommended.

Lastly, just to add a touch of class:

Woke up at 4 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Decided to wash the Z in the garage with ONR(love that stuff). Got it cleaned up and then headed to Starbucks with sun still coming up. Love getting stuff done early.

What have you done for your Z today?-oyu44tx.jpg

if you like ONR, and i was a die hard fan for years, try the wolfgang uber

i feel as if it is slicker and shines more . I still use both depending on my mood at the time
