hey i'm not trying to do any advertising but I only pay 96 a month with geico. I'm 27 and i've had one stolen car with them. No speeding tickets yet but ive only had the Z for 2 weeks. I just cant beleive how much some of you are paying for insurance. Does age make a huge differance or are you over 25?

A lot of it actually has to do with the city you live in. The greater the density of the city, the higher the rates. I pay $110.35 per month in Atlanta and I'm 28, married and presently have a clean driving record. Atlanta is a little higher than some due to the population and the fact that the average Atlanta driver is a complete moron. I almost get hit every day to and from work.

Actually I'm interested in seeing what people are paying, and your question begs a new thread - but since protocol has been broken...

I shell out about $1100 a year with Mercury, going through AIS as a broker. I'm 34, have a clean driving record (very lucky - I drive like a bat out of hell), have LoJack, and live in LA.

Not only that, but my liability/collision is a high 100,000/300,000, with uninsured motorist being the same. $500 deductible.

Mercury has the best rates for clean drivers.

I was paying $410 a month for insurance on my truck, and with a 350z it woulda been $580 a month, that's why I had to wait to get one. I got arrested street racing which is the same as getting a DUI, so I had to wait 3 years for it to go off my record...

Oh, and I only race at the track now.
