At what RPM is everyone shifting thier Z at to get the maximum acceleration?

 

i believe that would be the closest to the red line ?

 

Near redline, But I normally shift between 5 and 6 grand if looking for power.

 

Get the plenum... and the now entering production headers.

You will then shift at redline EVERYTIME!

So where is everyone normally shifting at? At normal daily driving conditions? Just wondering...

I'm shifting like at 4000 rpm +/-

 

every day driving probably about 3k, but I'm wondering something...
I test drove an auto g35, and it was running at about 1800 rpms during normal driving...why is it that autos can run at that low of an rpm, and it never seems like I can shift that low without getting it to drone..?

 

I do every day driving, and I shift at 3500 for 1-2, 3000 for 2-3, and 2500 for the rest. But sometimes I go 4000 for 1-[2]-3, and then 4000 for 3-[4]-5 (gear numbers in brackets indicate skipped gears).
