Hey guys. I'm pretty much at a point of either adding just a little more to my Z and calling it done or just going all out and building a very very nice Z. I was just wondering from other people, who have either lightly or crazily modded their Z's, what their thoughts were on while building your car? Just kind of wanted to get thoughts on what to do I guess? I know the final decision comes down to me on what to do but just wanted some advice and maybe some good stories of Z builds. Thanks.

^ Lol! As far as F/I I really haven't come to a decision on that. I want to but it's just not within my budget to go that extreme. But don't get it confused.... I <3 boost!

One cant exactly factor in finances when modding in terms of it being a financially sound idea because no way shape or form will it ever be its a hobby and an expensive one at that. I for one cant look at a totally stock car on a daily basis. Once one starts altering the performance aspects expect bigger price tags and a less reliable vehicle. Peformance parts are worth top dollar on the shelves but worth pennies on the dollar once they leave it. The building stage brings more enthusiasm than a finished product so ask yourself how much is it worth to you

My goals are to simply do a few performance mods. I have several criterion.
- Proven gains: I don't want to waste my money on thing that have no effect.
- Negligible hit to reliability: I don't want my mods to cause an undo increase in engine wear
- Easily reversible: If I sell the Z, I want to be able to return it to stock beforehand and be able to sell the parts that I put on it.
