interesting to see the shift in z owners latley being of the younger crowd. when i purchased mine new back in 05 most of the younger people could not afford this car for the most part, but now that the 350z is getting older and the prices have come down for the older modles the younger crowd can afford them. and now in turn we are seeing more and more wrecked Z's. interesting..... like i never saw this comming!!! lol........

but still if you are into modding cars the z is not cheap to mod...........

haha **** i hate being young and actually being a good driver...and no im not being a little immature child that thinks he's the best driver on the road. But seeing comments like young people driving z's is an accident waiting to happen sorta makes me mad....

It's already been said.........definitely going faster than 40mph, but if the OP says no, then still going too fast for conditions.

When it was posted that people slide into that guy's yard all the time, perhaps all these people are retards. If the road makes a 90 degree turn (or close to one), why wouldn't there be signs? I bet the speed limit is 25mph. Use all the excuses you want to (tires, flooding, etc), bottom line is you went too fast for conditions.

Anyway, glad you're okay, good luck getting the car fixed.

'young people driving is an accident waiting to happen'

fixed per insurance company stats...

[driving a Z just increases the carnage!]

at some point people realize that always assuming a truck is about to come around that blind corner will keep you alive longer

the darwin awards claim the ones that always assume 'passing on a blind corner will workout okay'

Is it totalled?
if so, are you parting it out?

I didn't read through the thread.

Let me know if your parting your OEM parts. I'm looking for OEM exhaust rubber hangers.

Dont pay any attention to the crap theres nothing worse than cracking up your car and hearing a lot of crap afterwards like you dont already know. The damage doesnt look that bad and doesnt look close to be totaled

I believe the airbags will not deploy if the speed at impact is less than 8 miles per hour. Looking at the damage, this appears to be a very low speed glancing impact. I'm not surprised the air bag did not activate.
