Dealer won't cover Tire TSB rotation!!
I was trying to set up the appointment for the TSB tire rotation per the service bulletin. I was informed this was at my expense? What is up with that? I am getting a second Bose amp under warranty as a TSB, so why is this TSB not a warranty issue??
Im at 9500 miles on mine and mine goes in next monday...I'm assuming they are covering it since I mentioned TSB 45 times. How do I go about getting new tires like most of you guys are getting?
To SunsetZ and vice86. Call NNA (1-800-nissan1) and ask them to authorize the repairs. I called and not only got new front tires, but got pilot sports instead of the bridgstones. Be calm and nice and simply state you case. Tell them what you want and ask them to contact the dealership.
I agree with the above. If you have more than 12K miles, you are SOL. However, if not, then the dealer has a serious issue that they need to address: service. The fact of the matter is that NNA released a TSB under which you qualify for free service. They don't have a choice but to comply. If they give you any hassles, take your car elsewhere. I have a dealership that is right next to my work, so they have a great location for me. However, they are lying bastards, so I refuse to use them period. I use another dealership that is 20 miles away because they know I am educated, that I don't waste their time, and they never question my requests. They even take the time to check the car over completely to search for other issues.

If your tires are feathering your car is OUT of alignment.
My car has 11k miles on it and they were very happy to take care of me, more so send me another set of front tires.
NNA will help you out.
If there dealer DOES NOT want to help, tell them you're calling NNA, letting them know... and have EVERY intention of letting them know how you were treated.

I only have 6400 miles. How can he say this is just a bulletin and not something they are offering as covered by warranty?

I kept saying this isn't right, how come the dealer didn not notify me of this before 18,000 miles. I get my oil changed at their place every 3, you think they would have mentioned something...
It works, and NNA knows they should easily take care of you, they even know of this site (Im sure they do), the worst case being a firestone/ford incident which they are trying to avoid.
