shell is now selling V-Power gas in New Orleans area. anyone else have them in there city? it's 94 octane and $1.57 a gallon here. I will be trying it out in few days when I run out of gas in my car.

I usually refill when I have a quarter tank left... around $30.

 

it's a $1.79 for 93 oc and $3.99 for 100 oc here on Florida's space coast

usually around $40. although i'm noticing that gas prices are going a little lower... but i doubt they'll stay that way for long.

Things have gotten a lot better in the Bay that I've seen as of late. My last fill-up was $2.13/gal which is a lot better than a month and a half ago at $2.49/gal.

Funny how perspective is with this type of relativity, as the $2.13/gal sounds like a great deal but in actuality is more than virtually every US state (not Hawaii though) for premium gas (91 octane, mind you).

 

here in socal, we're lucky if it drops below 2$ for 91. it usually ranges anywhere from $1.80~$2.30 depending on how the pump owners feel that day....

 

OMG!!! And i thought NY was expensive!

 

Gas is so freaking expensive in Cali because of their clean air laws. So many taxes and addatives.

 

friend of mine went to visit his family in hungary and guess how much gas prices are there? He told me it was $6.50 a gallon!!! I was like time to ride a bicycle to work.

 

Cheapest Shell 91 i can find is $1.93/gal takes about $35 to fill up.

1.70 - 1.90 for 94 octane in NJ... we have the cheapest gas in the northeast.

 

Man you guys got it good , yeh even in Cali.. Ours up here in Ontario is about $.80 a litre right now (that's about $3.00 a US gallon). at that price it costs me about $60. Canadian to fill from dry.
A few months back it peaked at about $.90 a litre for 91 octane!
Our prices hurt.

 

Yeah I can vouch for the insane gas prices up here in Canada. I live in southern BC and the price right now for regular is 79.9 cents a litre. ( 79.9 X 4 = $3.20 a Gallon ! ) I don't fill with anything but Chevrons 94 Octane which sells for 89.9 cents a liter right now ( $3.60 per Gallon ) but peaked at 99.9 cents a litre a couple months back ( $4.00 per gallon ! ). So I don't want to hear any whining about gas prices from the south you hear? lol.
