sorry to hear about that... i know that even if it is a minor flaw, once you know it is there, your eyes immediately go to it.
i dont know if they are any good, but "car and driver" always has this ad in the back of their magazine:
"wheel collision center- excellence in wheel repair/sales- bath, pennsylvania"
anyways, it seems that they will refinish your rims. hmm.... looking at this, it seems to be either a sales or exchange system. not sure how many track rims they would have to exchange. anyways, it is worth a shot.
their website address is www.wheelcollision.com and their phone number is 1 (800) 292-rims. if they are no good, then i am sorry. just trying to help out. good luck.

if it makes you feel any better
i had all 4 of mine refinished and they look perfect. you just need to make sure you get the exact color paint. i wen tto a nissan bodyshop and had them mix me some
my nissan dealership paid i guy to come to my house and fix them
he used a diameter sander and sanded about a 5-6 inch place them he resprayed that area and clearcoated it. i was worried when i saw hom take out the sander put it turned out perfect. the only way you can tell is the repainted area inst as slick to the touch as the factory finish coat.
email me
if you have any more concerns.
mattmc00@bellsouth.net
im sure there is someone in your area that does the same thing
just call a bunch of local car dealerships and ask if they have a whell guy that comes buy.
usually high end dealerships like bmw audi and mercedes contract these guys out for there customers
an average price is around $40 a wheel
it can be easily fixed as long as it inst bent

mc350z - Thank you also for your approach alo, I will contact either my Nissan dealer, or contact a higher end car dealership, such as M.B, or BMW... that price quote of 40.00 sounds like a deal to me..!!
any others that has experienced the CURB situation and got it fixed w/o buying a new wheel?

If you find a place in the Bay Area that does a satisfactory job, would you please post in it the Norcal forum. I'd be interested in fixing my curb induced rash.
Thanks!
