sorry to hear about that... i know that even if it is a minor flaw, once you know it is there, your eyes immediately go to it.

i dont know if they are any good, but "car and driver" always has this ad in the back of their magazine:

"wheel collision center- excellence in wheel repair/sales- bath, pennsylvania"
anyways, it seems that they will refinish your rims. hmm.... looking at this, it seems to be either a sales or exchange system. not sure how many track rims they would have to exchange. anyways, it is worth a shot.

their website address is www.wheelcollision.com and their phone number is 1 (800) 292-rims. if they are no good, then i am sorry. just trying to help out. good luck.

ragtopz - Thanks for the info, i will look into that...

mc350z - Thank you also for your approach alo, I will contact either my Nissan dealer, or contact a higher end car dealership, such as M.B, or BMW... that price quote of 40.00 sounds like a deal to me..!!

any others that has experienced the CURB situation and got it fixed w/o buying a new wheel?

Thanks forum guys...

When Nissan screwed up my rims from doing the TSB for tire noise, they had a guy come in to touch them up. I had a 2" curb rash (pothole) mark that he fixed for $35. The rims look great.

Hey Jerrera350,

If you find a place in the Bay Area that does a satisfactory job, would you please post in it the Norcal forum. I'd be interested in fixing my curb induced rash.

Thanks!

Curbed mine too. Here's what I did....

Polished with charcoal paint on the inner wheel. Makes 'em stand out nice!

Yeah, my rim was curbed before I got them polished. It wasn't bad through and you can't tell now since they've been smoothed out with the polishing. It costs about $750 for a set of four.
