Trim: G, but my car is a base!?!?
Today, I was curious and wanted to check my VIN online. I noticed on my sticker in the door jamb that it said Trim: G which means GRAND TOURING! However, everything in the car is... BASE. It looks like there is a slightly larger sticker under this sticker, but I'm not sure. How could this be!?

Call a dealer or NNA with your VIN and they can look it up and tell you exactly what trim it is.
No. What I meant by corrected title, is that some cars have mistakes in the VIN or something (don't quote me on this, I found it on a car I was looking to get), and it just means something about the car had been originally recorded wrong and was corrected. I know the VIN can't tell you the trim of your car, but it can tell you if there was an original recorded mistake that had been corrected.
And no, corrected title does not mean "salvage/rebuilt" lol.
"Corrected title usually means that there was some incorrect info on the title so it was reissued. The DMV spelled my street name wrong on my title, now my autocheck shows a corrected title. Usually not a big deal unless there are other issues on the autocheck. "

you'll see that G means Grand Touring.
I kind of asked about the Vin/records, because its history might give me info about why it is labeled this way.
I wasn't trying to say that my VIN said my car was grand touring. I was saying that while looking for it, i noticed under it there was "Trim: G". There is a color code right next to it, so I know G is not the color. Also, of you read here, http://www.*********.com/zwiki/Category:Trim_Levels

Step 1: turn your driving headlight on
Step 2: stand in front of car and look directly into lights
Step 3: if eyes hurt and bleed you have regular halogen lights, If you eyes explode in your head you have HID's
HID's Beam will be a cleaner white compared to stock halogens. I know all 07+ have them standard. 06's ??? not sure
