Talked to my dealer in Rockville, MD (VOB Nissan, DC area) several times yesterday and today. He said my car has been invoiced to him and that typically means he'll recieve it in 24-48 hours. When I talked to him about 6 PM Friday it had not arrived, but he was expecting it tomorrow morning possibly.

What blows is that their service dept is closed this weekend cause of the holiday. They need a service person to do the dealer prep before I can have it! That's a problem for me because even if it's ready Tuesday I can't go get it until Saturday 9/7 because it's an 8-9 hour drive.

He said maybe there will be a tech there tomorrow doing some work off the clock, and maybe that guy can prep it. I hope things work out and I can go get it tomorrow! I'll keep ya posted for sure...

I have been thru Courtland hundred's of times, but not lately. Actually lived there for several months back in the '60's. I'm sure that the place has changed, but a Z in Courtland-WOW. The town always seemed so quiet and laid back. " Must be one o'them ferun cars". Who'd a thunk it?

PIcked up mine from Brown's in Fairfax last night, their first delivery in the pre-order program, and they have further deliveries scheduled throughout the month. My Z was drawing crowds and they were getting a lot of calls from interested buyers, since the car was actually listed in their online inventory.

Silverstone/Touring/6MT w/charcoal leather, Nav, Aero, etc.. It's absolutely stunningly beautiful.

I've got less than an hour actual cockpit time, but I gotta say, it was well worth the wait.

Olzilver: The truth is while Courtland is my mailing address -I live closer to Sedley which makes Courtland look like New York city. Most everyone around here drives mile high trucks and chews tobacky so I'll have to be careful.
My car had better be here today or I'm gonna PUKE! Come on
NNMT!!!!(Has it been 3 weeks?)

Mbeguy: Thanks for all your accurate updates!!!!

I heard on 93.7 there was supposed to be a new Z at a Va beach area dealer for a broadcast tomorrow. I'm not sure of the dealer but I think is was Hall.

I totally need to get my car so I can stop posting things like this:
(screen shot taken at 12:30ish ET, gives me a little hope, but I can't make out what kind of cars are on that carrier). Btw, I've seen 3 others leaving w/in a 20 minute time frame.

Nevermind....I can't seem to attach my file...shows a full car carrier leaving NNMT.

Checked Nissandriven this morning and my VIN showed up in my dealer's inventory. The dealer told me to expect a 9/5 deliver, but they have not called yet to say that they have recieved it. BTW the dealer is Hamilton in Hagerstown, MD even though I live in VA (long story). Can't begin to tell you how excited I was when I finally saw the VIN the website!

I'll post again when I get the call.

What a relief - I finally saw my VIN on the dealer's inventory website. I called the dealer immediately and they were surprised - they dont even know the car is coming, much less that a website existed w/ inventory on it. Thats what I get for ordering from a small-town NC dealer. Im here in Florida and I need to make arrangements to sell my car and fly up to NC -- unfortunately, the dealer is in the Bible Belt, and as such they are closed on Sunday's.

Does anyone know what it means if the car is listed on the website - how long before the dealer receives it?

Thanks
CBK

My Z's ETA is 6:30pm tonight (eastern) so it'll be tomorrow before it's prepped and ready. The truck then goes to Raleigh. My car has been on the Nissan site for 3 days now but your time will vary. Good luck to all and thanks Matt!!! I'll send some pic's Saturday.

Alliance Nissan, Eliz City, N.C. Red touring 6mt.

Not mine. Looks like there will be more than one blue Track model in Northern Virginia. Congrats to whoever ordered this one.

Default Mr September delivery delayed..

My dealer, Hall Nissan Chesapeake, telephoned me today to let me know that they had been notified by NNA that my delivery would not be until October. This was disappointing in the fact that I ordered 11 January and was notified earlier it would be a September delivery.

Did they say when in October? It's looking more and more like our cars are taking a trip together over here.
