Only in Japan, and not sure will work in US. The LAWebGuy says he is getting some and will test.

Anyone else seen or heard anything?

I would love that. The fob gets in the way.

Please post more info on if it will work here in the states and how to get it.

Thanks Jeff.

Man, that is cool.... I'd be in, sacrificing the trunk controls... my keychain has enough on it.

trunk button might be a combination of the buttons. They have this kind of key fob built in on some Audi's.

i saw these keys a while back and i cannot find the site again where i saw them. i was just surfing around and i came across it by accident. i should have bookmarked that page. i really want to buy them. the fob that we get here looks so cheapy.

of course, i wouldnt want to order them from japan if they dont work. they must be about $120-$150 a key i would guess. a blank fob here costs about $95.

i would sacrafice the trunk button if there was no way of opening it using the buttons on the fob. it isnt that much of an inconvenience pressing the button under the trunk.

what kind of key/fob do the people in australia have? my sister is going there in february.

I'd like a key fob like the new Murano has. If you have the fob within a 1m range of your car it knows this and unlocks the car and enables the ignition for you. For example your keys are at the bottom of your gym bag but it's within 1m ( 3.3f ) of you so you don't need to use the fob to unlock the doors or start the vehicle ! Now thats handy .

i wish nissan had offered this as an option for the car. its probably worth about $150 or so to me- to not carry around the keyfob, those things remind me of a 1990 car alarm
