Nav / 7" / Dvd Question
I saw the new 350Z has a 7" screen when the nav option is picked.
1. Is this a DVD based system ?
2. Can you play regular dvd's on it ?
3. Does the monitor have additional a/v inputs ?
4. Would a din system be possible to add to the center console if you don't pick the nav system option ?

This has been answered many times already.
1. yes, it's a dvd based system
2. no, you can not play dvd movies on it
3. no, I don't think so.
4. you can install a double din system in the center, with or without the nav system. or wait for a single din install kit.

Earlier someone posted a link to a 350Z nismo catalog. It was in Japanese, so I don't know the details, but they showed a couple of rear and side view camera systems with the video showing through the nav system I believe. If my memory is accurate, you should be able to use the display for other uses.
