After I saw the "poop" poll, this one didn't seem quite so irrelevant. I voted.

Good question.

You should make a poll to investigate . . .

mistakes happen...if you're a rookie. I don't stall. I can probably count on two hands, the amount of times I've stalled in the 9 years I've been driving manual.

...I'll probably stall on the way home from work now.

I frequent another Extremely large forum (Guns) and I mentioned this forum in a thread and you cannot believe the negative feedback I got.

Ohhh but what does it matter......as you were
Maybe you would like NICO better. Those f@gs sit around the campfire holding hands and singing kumbaya.

Anyway, I don't think I have ever stalled my Z. If you stall your car often enough to remember how often you do, you probably need to be in an automatic with that b!tch shift thing on the side.

I guess it's one way to look at it. I don't stall mine either, then again I've been driving for 30 years. Another way to look at it would be maybe the OP is new to a standard and was trying to guage his current performance. If people don't like the thread they could always just move on.

When I don't like a TV show I change the channel rather than sit there bitching about how stupid it is or that I saw it xx times before.

YMMV

As far as his performance goes, if you continue to fail at the same task on a regular basis then you are bad at it. I don't know why someone needs a forum to confirm that they
are doing a poor job, but OK.

I actually wasn't making a reference to how much of a waste of bandwidth this poll was. I was saying that if you agree with that guns forum and feel we are too negative then maybe you would like NICO better. They will congratulate you for wasting their time over there. By the way, if this forum is so bad then why is it by far the biggest Z forum found on the net?

Just out of curiosity, when you see a negative behavior in other aspects of life like raising a child or managing people do you ignore it there too? Or do you do what you should do and coach them on what the expected behavior should be? Because that is a better analoggy than turning the channel when you don't like what's on.

You mentioned sponsors/vendors earlier. What would the membership size be if this forum became nothing more than a place for stupid polls and questions about what is the best CAI? How would sponsors/vendors feel about giving money to a site that people don't go to anymore?

We may be a little crass for your taste and that's fine but the bottom line is that this site has the largest membership and utilization for a reason. That reason is because this site isn't full of a bunch of candy a$$es.

For those who think this poll is irrelevant, simply move on and don't answer. There's no need to create tension.
