I actually wasn't making a reference to how much of a waste of bandwidth this poll was. I was saying that if you agree with that guns forum and feel we are too negative then maybe you would like NICO better. They will congratulate you for wasting their time over there. By the way, if this forum is so bad then why is it by far the biggest Z forum found on the net?

Just out of curiosity, when you see a negative behavior in other aspects of life like raising a child or managing people do you ignore it there too? Or do you do what you should do and coach them on what the expected behavior should be? Because that is a better analoggy than turning the channel when you don't like what's on.

+1000000

You mentioned sponsors/vendors earlier. What would the membership size be if this forum became nothing more than a place for stupid polls and questions about what is the best CAI? How would sponsors/vendors feel about giving money to a site that people don't go to anymore?

We may be a little crass for your taste and that's fine but the bottom line is that this site has the largest membership and utilization for a reason. That reason is because this site isn't full of a bunch of candy a$$es.
I posted a response similar to this in another thread. This cluttering with BS polls, dreamer threads and, yes the CAI questions, is seemingly getting worse. Its so easy to tell us to move on if we don't like it, but who want to have to sift through half a page of BS to find something worthwhile. The nice people forums serve a purpose but their library of info cannot compare to here.

the noob questions can be annoying, but i've never seen a forum with as many egotistic narsacist as this one. it hasn't always been this way.

even zdayz has gotten full of it. everyone i went with in 07 said the same thing.

ironcally i love the z, but the owners seem to be going down hill.

i expect the membersip #'s will reflect this sooner or later

Exactly......if I would have done a little more lurking, I wouldn't have ponied up for the premier membership. It's really bad whenb the mods and sponsors play a role in the sarcastic and egotistical narcism.

So what are you some kind of tough guy with all the candy a$$ references . As far as largest site is concerned this it not as big as it could be. In fact in relative terms it's not that big at all. Yes I use the search function and it is annoying reading all of the immature flaming posts. So if it's bandwidth or searching you're concerned with maybe leaving out some of the unnecessarily crass posts would help the cause.

Not everyone is as experienced with the Z as some self annointed experts are. ... maybe if they remembered when they were starting out this site maybe more productive.

As far as coaching is concerned, I'm a firearms and tactics instructor and I work with individuals as well as Police Departments. I can tell you that flaming and sarcasm has no role in coaching.

If you don't have anything constructive to say then why say anything at all?

I'm in a little bit a disbelief when I do stall it.

The correct spelling is narcissist and narcissism.

If it is so bad here then why even bother? Bomber, the majority of your post are nothing but complaints about how people are on this forum. If thats how you want to get your moneys worth out of your premier membership than thats cool

No, not a tough guy, I just make a point not to **** and moan about how mean people on the internet are.

Not being a failure at driving a stick does not make me an expert, it makes me someone who knows how to drive a car with a manual transmission. So if I remembered that I had a hard time for about two months when I first learned how to drive a manual, the OP would be a better driver? OK, well I just thought about it, and I bet he still stalls too much.

Do you mean that if you observe someone doing something stupid with a firearm while on a range your tactic will be to ignore it as well? Sounds pretty safe.

I have a feeling a lot of people aren't being honest...I mean this includes those accidental stalls where you just forget you have her in gear or your just not paying attention. $hit happens! I would say once enough, cause hey I'm not perfect and accidents do happen. My mind is elsewhere sometimes. :P

I think you know what I mean. At the level I train at, my clients/students are fairly high speed.

But how would you handle it IF you observed stupid behavior especially by the same person on multiple occasions. I do understand that playing with guns and communicating on a forum are at a different level of importance but the principle remains.

Stalled mine for the first time yesterday so that's once out of 8 months-ish?

It took me a few days to get used to the clutch but the car has a lot of power and is much more likely to slip or buck than to stall. I started it in 1st gear once (I have no idea why it was in gear) and it lurched forward with the e-brake on and everything. I hit the brakes before the clutch and the engine bogged, but didn't stall. I don't think I could stall it out if I tried...

I didn't bother reading through all the messages on this thread, but I would say this is the most stupid thread and the worst poll I've seen on my350z.com.

Yea oranges and apples. My clients are generally very experienced and many carry a weapon as part of their job. I will however answer your question. It depends on what they did. If it was an ND, they'd be asked to leave (zero tolerance). If it was a muzzle sweep, there would be a teaching moment without the use of sarcasm. If there was a second occurance, they'd be asked to leave.

"If it was an ND, they'd be asked to leave (zero tolerance)."

What's an ND? I assume the D is for discharge, but I still can't come up with anything for N in that context.

Maybe you just don't like people from North Dakota.

I just logged back in to this thread to read the posts since my last post.

I agree with this statement in its entirety. I searched your [Bomber] posts and the majority of your posts do consist of complaints about this site. If you don't like it here then kick rocks, as far as I know no one is forcing you to stay.

Someone starting a thread about how often they stall out their vehicle points back to their inability to properly operate their vehicle. A message board does not need to tell you that, common sense does.
