Default Intense Power are a bunch of Thieves

I bought a J's racing front bumper for a S2000 and air and brake ducts on the 20th of January 2009 from Intense after placing other orders from them. and well it's almost a year and no bumper and to top it off I paid Intense power and they paid a smaller company whom has not refunded the moneys
so I don't get my money back until they get there money back. I have called Intense only to get "your bothering us and we are doing you a favor on even taking to you because were are loosing money with potential orders on phone calls" and since they are wasting there time with me and wont answer my emails or phone calls I get hung up on. Trust me I had enough girlfriends in the past to know when some one answers the phone and hangs up. I have tried to and I have been more then patient through this proses.. So this a warning to all that are thinking about dealing with Intense Power and Darren, spend your money with a different company. Intense Power Lies, cheats and steals.. I have all the transactions on file and I will proceed to obtain a lawyer to get my money back...

Jay,

I'm not sure why you aren't able to get through to us, unless you're always calling when we are at lunch (or after hours?). Our hours are 9-1230; 130-6 PST. Regarding your refund, we will process it once we have received our refund from the importer. This process, I assure you, will be a drop in the water, in terms of time, compared to the unforeseen wait that we all have had to endure with your order. Again, you have our most sincere, deepest apologies regarding the mishaps with the importer, as well as our apparent poor communications. We again thank you greatly for your patience and professionalism in all matters relating to our business together.

Kind regards,

Darren Lane, C.O.O.

I have not heard anything I have been on the phone all day tiring to get a hold of some one over there and no response. This is how they treat people.

They need to pay you back whether they get a refund back now later or never.
either way, if they see this they will reallize they will loose more money with the negative publicity.

wow, shady if true / details not left out.

news flash to folks who run a business, if you pay a third party and they don't deliver it is YOU who should be out money to refund the customer, awaiting funds from the third party.

what a dumb way to lose a customer and other potential business.

Thank you apparently Darren has no consept of that he say's "there out money to" I asked how is that possible, I paid you(Intense) then you (intense) paid another company with my money so technically Intense Power is out no money at all.

That is correct. You have a contract with Intense Power. Apparently they took your money - they give it back. Simple.

no I paid with money orders but I have all the transactions and a email from them with the paid invoice . and countless emails stating it's on it's way and should be any day now's. this has been going on since may of this year me asking for a refund and them telling me I have to wait until they get a refund from the vendor they used to pay with my money. then they said on 9/16 just a drop in the water and it should be in(check) any day now that was the last time I talked to them 3 months and no word no check. NOTHING..

What do you mean “Almost a year?” Is that not 22 months? Are your dates correct?

That is frustrating. You have several options:

a. File a complaint with the BBB in Arizona.

b. Arizona may have a Department of Consumer Affairs. It is usually under the State Attorney General office. File a complaint.

c. Last resort file a suit in Arizona small claims court. Only problem is that you have to show in court in Arizona.

Im thinking he mean 2009 but that is still so far beyond ridiculous that I can't believe it. As said, IP was not out one cent - in fact they have to be making some profit on the sale so they are still ahead. To make someone wait a full year? You have GOT be kidding me, there is no excuse under the sun that makes that sh*t fly!

yeah thanks, I have been weighing my options I wanted to let members know first. I will call the better business bureau file a complaint then, I will pay a retainers fee I am not letting them screw me like this. I don't care if it cost me 1500 or 3 grand to get 1800 back or whatever the cost.
