just installed cold air intake and have a question
i just finished installing a cold air intake on my 2003 350z and everything went great it sounds great theres like a whistle sound when you start to rev the engine and there is an improvement in the take off right from the start at 0 mph. anyways my question is the intake pipe/filter kind of hits the wheel inside plastic fender lining and pushes it out about another half inch or so. the inside fender lining went in like normal and fit except on of those push in screws right by the back of the tire i couldn't get the push in screw to its hole because the intake pipe is in the way. well i checked the steering and its fine the tire doesn't rub against the inside plastic fender lining or anything but it is pretty close. im just a little concerned about this its fine but i would sleep better at night knowing i could put in that last push in screw so the inside fender would go back a little more. has anyone had this problem and if so how did you ajust the intake to have everything fit and not have the inside plastic fender pushed out a little bit. any help would be appreciated
