my insurance company is dropping me and I have to go into the high risk drivers category and my insurance for the Z will be like 7100 a year so I have to sell it and get a hooptie

I have 12 points on my record. 6 in one bad year (2002).
Originally qouted 248/mo which i can handle but two weeks
after i got car (which they got from santa rosa, im in sacto)
they said there were things the agent missed on dmv report
now 518/mo. Also topped off loan with negative equity on trade
in. Have gap insurance, maybe "forget" to lock up an leave outside of garage is the answer, lol.
anyone want an overpriced '03 db touring 2200k miles
later

How do you like their service? Have you ever had to file a claim with them? I've heard good things and I'm wondering if I should get a quote from them.
Thanks!

Is that price for full coverage or is it just liability? Also how many other car's do you have and how many miles did you say you drive your Z per year?
Are you over 25 and are you married with kids? Sorry to ask you all these questions but you have some damn cheap insurance and I wonder what you need in order to qualify for such a rate!
Thanks man.

The best thing you can do to lower your insurance is wait until your 25th birthday, and don't get any tickets or into any accidents.

If i cant get a lower policy, my z will have to be sold.
So who knows where i can get cheaper ins. for a bad driving

Currently paying $518.00/mo

I pay less than what it costs to ensure a Cavalier or Sunfire, since there are fewer 350Z's around here and they don't have much of a past history on the car to base their rates. About $100/month.

That is outrageous.
Should've done your homework before you bought the car.

You lose $6500 dollars, if not more, the first year of ownership of the Z, and it gradually goes down to about $4K, the next year, ect, ect.
I am sorry to see that you are paying too much, but the ? still remains, How many tickets, accidents, and what kind of both have you been involved in? And your age?
Your car payment is $618 a month. Would that be for 72 months?
Don't cry, but I pay $350 every 6 months for my Z. And thats full coverage and a $500 deductible.
35 yoa, no tickets, accidents, married, 2 cars.
The best bet for you is to leave your car in Compton somewhere with the keys in the car.
I thought about getting in the car dealership business, changed my mind, getting in the insurance business. CHA-CHING!
One last thing, they also base your insurance premium on your Credit Score.
GL, I hope you can get out from under that. That is indeed a nightmare, but you dug the hole, and I think you can't get outta that one, my friend!
That was the first thing I did before looking at Z's, was to get quotes from the insurance company.
