This sucks, I borrowed my dads truck this past week to drive to a wrestling tournament(I coach High school wrestling) and some young girl ran into my 63 yr old father driving my Z. The punk in the passanger seat gets out and grabbed my dad by the shirt and slung him to the ground! So needless to say when I get the police report i will be making a stop at this punks house to get reinbursed for the shirt and pants he ripped! Whats wrong with people these days?? This guy was in his upper twenties, and wanted to fight a man in his sixties??? We`ll just see how much fight he has in him???? Anyway just had to vent and show the pics of my wrecked Z.....

 

Man that sucks. but at least the damage is minimal. It's not worth getting in a fight with the guy, you'll just end up in a bigger legal situation.

 

That really sucks.


I don't know what I'd do if I found out someone did that to my father. I'd be tempted to get his address, pay him a visit, and lash out. However, the UCMJ frowns upon this.

That is one of the craziest things I have heard in a while. I know how I would feel, but realize it would not be smart to do. Then again, my dad did used to have me egg his neighbor's car when he would park it in front of our house. So maybe he would want me to kick that kids *** for him!

Very smart idea to wait for the police report and see what is reported. Surely your dad should report the asault to the cops and if confirmed, they would do what the law requires and you can also follow up in a legal way. There is always the instinct to act in a retaliatory way in situations like this, but luckily we do not live in a lawless soceity (At least that is what I think and I stand corrected)

 

Dexter mode for sure just don't get caught.

Well he had told the guy a dozen times not to park his POS Bonneville in front of our house. The guy had a three car garage and a 30 yard driveway but insisted on on parking the street. The big deal was because we had a lot of kids in our neighborhood that always played in the street. Our house was on the other side of a big hill and kids almost got hit several times because you couldn't see them between the cars on the street. All the neighbors had agreed to not park there to make it safer.

Thanks for all the support. I would really like to kick this punks teeth in..but I will try and keep an open mind! It was definitly the girls fault she even told the police this,but she would not give me her insurance info?? the cops wouldnt either,said I had to wait till the report comes out 3-5 days later?? So my insurance is payin and will sue hers for the money later.. as for the color its yellow just a shotty pic?? Sorry. My Dad did not file a report on the assult. I guess he was a little embarassed?? The only injuries were from being slung to the ground scuffed up wrist,tore his shirt off and ripped his jeans. Oh and pride...But anyway I know I would never act in this manner toward any senior citizen for any reason other than self defense.. but if it gets that bad Im sure I could out run a 63 year old man..lol
