Default need advice b4 taking car to dealership

I've read some bad experiences of some of y'all taking your Z into service. I'm not paranoid, but I'm taking my car into the dealership to get a new headlamp 'cause it was cracked this week. Be honest, should I not be worried??

I just want no scratches, dents, no one abusing my car,........

Thanks.

well, then you have proof that it was not there when you brought it in if they check it out...

most dealers would take responsibility..

No worries

Usually dealerships have some kind of drawing of a car on their forms they fill out they use to mark where damage is..

like when you go rent a car...

You're lucky, by now, the Z is kind of old hat at the dealers. They have plenty of new ones to driver around if anybody wants to, so it's unlikely that yours will meet some horrible fate.

Having said that, there have been a few mishaps we've heard about here. Many dealers are actually honest and will fess up if they screw up the car somehow.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, just go to a reputable dealer.
