i crashed my z
Hmmmm....interesting. Wondering how fast you were going while making a left turn that would result in that kind of damage, and the airbags deploying. Most of our tires have very little grip in the cold weather.
well i wasn't going fast at all, i was only in 1st gear.. i went and looked at another Z already because the insurance adjuster hasn't went to look at my car yet to declare it as totalled.. its a 2003 26,000 original miles, clean title, 6-speed of course, its very clean, i went and drove it, shes asking 14,000 heres some pics tell me what you guys think

my car isnt driveable at all, trust me i would have chased after him to at least get a plate ya know.... both pass side tries are turned oppisite ways then they should be like if the wheel is straight, the front tire is pointed out and the rear is pointed in, its fcuked up
i wish i took more pics

Wow. Sorry to see your Z all messed up like that. Hopefully, things work out in your favor and you can get a new Z. Good luck.

From the looks of it, I doubt it's totalled, but it's a very costly fix for sure. GL to you and keep us updated.

Glad you are ok and sorry abt the Z. Personally it sounds and looks decently bad - I would imagine the insurance company will declare the car a total loss as the body work if done properly with genuine Nissan parts will be likely well over $7K. And if its a 2003 with higher mileage it wouldn't make sense for them to pay out that much to have it repaired and deal with the hassles etc. Plus if it happened to me I wouldn't want a repaired car that's been in such an accident. It's not just a parking lot accident.
But concerning the 2003 with 26K miles you have seen for sale at $14k - its pretty cool. That brick color is growing on me, classy and different. And a big plus if it were owned by a woman who put so little miles on it. I'd say if the insurance company does total your damaged car I would definately consider this car.
If the insurance company does total your car - ask them if they will give you an option to purchase the car back for a minimal price. Some insurance companies will allow the owner to buy the car back from them at a small fraction of what an undamaged car is worth instead of having to be stuck with the wrecked car and then having to deal with trying to sell it at a insurance auction. If they will sell it to you say for couple of grand let me know as I would be interested in purchasing the wrecked Z from you after you purchase it from the insurance company. You name your price and I will let you know if I am interested as I wouldn't mind having a parts car. My seats, steering wheel, carpets, and other parts are kinda worn.
Thanks and good luck.
