just bought an 04 with 37k miles, noticed oil around drivers side valve cover and a noticable drip under the car, i thought i was doomed. it turned out to be a faulty dipstick/oil level seal, bought a new one and problem went away
sometimes its just something stupid like that

 

I have a stillen supercharger on mine, and I don't consume any oil between changes.
