I don't know the specifics about the problems you encountered, but if they are legit and the dealer in fact screwed up, then you really ought to file a complaint with NNA and the BBB.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dirtbag car dealers out there. Hopefully you can hook up with a good one and get your Z in short order.

Hey mods! Whatever happened to that great idea of having a sticky thread where people can report good/bad dealer reviews??? This sounds like a good case for starting one!!!

Wadd:

Just a quick question: from your previous messages, it seems that you were searching for a soon-to-arrive pre-order in the area.
From Scafremon's data, it seems that you had a car ordered with a November delivery.
Were you trying to buy someone else's order to get a car more quickly, or was this in fact your car?

Just trying to make sense of this and help however I can.

From what my dealer told me, people trying this whole "take someone else's order over" plan are going to be in for some big headaches. I definitely hope this doesn't become the case with your order.

Default k

the FIRST one, that was sold under me, was a "taken over order"

I WANTED a late delivery.

The ONLY ONE LEFT in the area at msrp is the one im checking up on.........its a sept delivery

So, now I am confused...

You said "NNA never resolved my issues with the mysterious charges on my car" and then you told NSANY "the FIRST one, that was sold under me, was a 'taken over order'"

Are you just upset because the "taken over order" fell through, or your legitimate pre-order was not the car you ordered when it came in?

If it is you being upset with the "taken over order" then I understand your frustration, but Nissan says this stuff may happen.

Either way, I am sure it is frustrating not to get your Z.

Just curious.

Wadd,

Don't sweat it.. you're better off not dealing with those crooks at (you and I know where) anyway... They would have taken for every last penny they could wring you for and make your Z buying experience a miserable one then have the gaul to ask you to mark your Purchaser's Survey with all Excellents.

You'll find a Z for you somewhere.. patience...

man wadd. Your story is so cryptic. I thought you said that the first car was YOUR pre-order (a thread from before), then the dealer jacked the price up right? But on this thread you say that you were taking it over?

From what I gather, you have been trying to get in on a cancelled pre-order since the beginning.

Talking Explaination

Criptic as in, difficult to understand? Sorry about that.

1st one, took over a preorder. Made an agreement for MSRP + 500 doc charge. 2 weeks later, 1000$ "appearence charge" came out of no where.

2nd one, deal changed when i went in to sign the papers.

IM LOOKING FOR ANYHING. Doesnt have to be a canceled preorder.....ANYTHING that isn 1-2gs OVER what it should cost.

Did that make sense? I mean, at this point, now i HAVE to find a cancled preorder correcT?

Ak!

1) I HAD a preorder for a daytona blue from Team Nissan. I had an ISSUE going with them and contacted NNA. NNA was "trying" to resolve it and cried out that Team was doing dirty business. They knew it, I knew it, NNA knew it, and was supposed to fix the price gouging issue.

Dealer called me Friday, said we have someone willing to pay MORE for this car, either you take it or leave it. I told him to F-himself, and next thing I know he is mailing me back my deposit check. Keep in mind, MY NAME is on the preorder sheet!!

2) I do NOT have a Z on preorder any more. Im desperately SEARCHING. It seems every time i talk to them on the phone its ONE THING. I go in, and bam its 2g's more then what they told me on the phone. I wont take that!! No one else is, why should I.

I NEED TO FIND A CANCLED PREORDER IN GA,SC, NC,AL, or TN immediately. Can you help? Prefferably, performance or a touring with minimal features.

Default Another UPDATE

I called around all day today.

No dealers have cancled preorders (translation, no one would admit they did since they can EASILY let them hit the lot and sell for loads more).

One dealer mentioned that he ordered 8 under "false" names. This is highly AGAINST policy. Then he goes "you can have one of those for 2gs over msrp. GIMME A BREAK!

one thing I don't get... was he still offering the car to you at msrp when he called saying hey you can take it now for msrp or else im gonna jack it up and sell it to these people. If that's the case... why didn't you just take it?
