Halloween is just around the corner. consider yourself lucky. It could have been a basball bat.

minor nuisance versus getting egged, keyed or batted...if only stringing happened to me i'd breathe a big sigh of relief with a chuckle and walk away thinking pranksters versus malicious jealous vandals.

How would they see me sitting in it? It is dark, no light, seat leaned back. They would not know unless they came and kinda took a peak in the window. By that time it would be to late.

one day i was walking up to my mercedes suv and i saw this brown stuff stuck to the side of the car. i thought, "i cant believe this! someone stuck dog feces on my car!" i was so sick.

when i got real close, i realized it wasnt. ended up being a brownie. i guess i should have still been mad, but i wasnt because i was so relieved that it wasnt feces. i will take a chocolate brownie on my car any day over feces.

anyways, yeah, it is irritating. but as others have said, it could have been much much worse. that being said, if you catch those guys doing it again, i say you should hold them down and shoot silly string up their nostrils.

what? you guys don't garage your z already? first thing i did when i got mine was get automatic garage door opener installed in my house. never bothered before the z, but got it done with the quickness after. plus, every once in a while there's been incidents of cars getting egged in my 'hood. not a lot, maybe once in a couple of months, but my sister's car and my van got hit once.

Since you've already slept in your car once, you should sleep in it on Halloween. Make sure you bring an automatic paintball gun with FROZEN paintballs and a bat...hehe.

I do have a paint ball gun, and a bat, haha. Well, I just may do that, but that is only while I am sleeping, and I am sure there will be quite some time I will not be able to be around the Z.

sorry to necro this thread but my 350z got silly stringed yesterday...

wouldn't be a big deal.. but it got all over the cloth top. I spent 2 hours trying to get it out, and it got dark so I couldn't see if it worked. I'm scared to go out and look right now, anyone know how to get it out of a convertible top?

And it wasn't my friends playing a joke or something, there are some section 8 failures in this condo development who do not like the fact my $19k 2008 z is the nicest car here.

I know it wasn't the drug dealer on the first floor, he wouldn't want to draw attention to himself.

Holy shiite! This might be the oldest thread ever brought back from the dead! I thought my tired old eyes were going bad when I saw 2003.

The only concern I have about silly string is that it can damage the rubber seals around the windows (stains and discoloration). I'm not sure if it requires that it be left on for a while and mixed with sun exposure or not, though.
