Hey guys, so my 06 is on its way...
My new wheels got in today, and i have some other stuff on order.
Here is my list to date... Only the wheels are in.
Enkei RPF1s 19" will be powder coated black
KW Variant 2 coilovers (gotta get that flush look )
Borla True Dual
Stillen High Flow Cats
Borla Headers
Carbon Z tube
JWT Pop charger
Tommy Kaira Heavy Baby Heavyweight Shift ****
So what do you guys think? Good start or what? I'm so excited to get all this installed and looking good.
I LOVE MY Z!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if that's a list of future mods or mods you've gotten already. If you haven't bought them already, hold off on the Stillen HFCs until the first wave of reviews come flowing in for the Motordyne ART pipes. They may be a better choice. You probably want to drop the Borla headers for either Stillen or Crawford. If you don't, though, it's understandable. I've heard the Borla TD and Stillen HFC combo, and it remains one of the meanest sounding Z's I've heard to this day.
Also, if you have a 6MT 2006 with the Rev-Up engine, then you will definitely want to get a Motordyne 5/16" Spacer and MREV2 combo in there. Easily one of the best mods you can buy for an Rev-Up.
One last thing... you'll want a tune in there. Your stock ECU will start hating you after a few bolt-ons and try to eat your car.

+1 on tossing those POS headers. Should have done more research before just buying something. Most all headers arent even close to being worth the cost or install cost and trouble. They are the worst bang for the buck mod and Borla are the worst. Borla admitted to coming out with them with little to no R&D on them.

Good tips...
Thanks for the info. Was wondering tho. The shop doing all my work told me to hold off on the MREV2 and Spacer (i've already thought about those mods) because I have a supercharger on the horizon... Is this an accurate statement? Should I hold off on the spacer and mrev?
I agree with the sound of the borla td and stillen hfcs, I fell in love with the sound, and I have to have them
And yah, I already have my Z, it is an 06' Rev-Up with 18k miles...
A tune and dyno will happen after all is installed, these will be my only mods for the next month or so, then onto body, then supercharger, then interior...
I am super concerned now about the borla headers, did a quick google, and it does seem that a lot of people say that the borlas dont do anything, except crack!!! Maybe I should cancel my order and go with crawfords? Or abandon the idea of headers all together... Such difficult decisions
