Default Made it less than a year w/o an accident :(

Heading to a restaurant after work to meet up with a friend. Made it to the parking lot of the place. Behind a Montero Sport. All of the sudden she stops. Then her reverse lights come on. She starts coming backwards with no caution. I tap the horn...once...twice...lay on the damn thing...WHAM.

There wasn't enough time to shift to reverse and check behind me. I threw it in neutral at the last second and prayed the car would roll back, but she was coming back too fast. ***** rode her rear end right up over my bumper.

Bumper replacement w/o a doubt. Bodykit maybe?

The interesting part: In the city it happened in, when an accident happens on private property, the police do not file an accident report. You simply both fill out a form with your information on it and swap.

This should be fun getting her to admit liability >:/

Wow thats not much damage at all... what was she driving and how fast did she reverse into you?

Insurance will probably just do a new bumper, doubt you'll get enough for a bodykit.

Good luck on the repair...

That's the million dollar wound.

If all goes well and she is found 100% at fault which she should be, you get to get a nice aftermarket bumper with the $

Perfect place to get hit. Just one panel damaged and no structural damage beyond the paint of the bumper so it seems.

Post pics with new bumper!

OEM Replacement + Paint + Labor

Most likely he will get enough for a replica kit from ViS.

The best accidents are when you're push'n your luck. If your gonna wreck your baby, you might as well be take'n a chance.

Sorry dude. This one sucks.

Did you have any witnesses? If there were, you should have gotten their statements. I got hosed big time in a parking lot wreck. It's your word against hers and guess who usually wins?

That'll buff right out...

GL with a new bumper...maybe a Nismo V3, it'd be nice to
have OEM fitment.

The only way that would happen to me is if they did it while my car was parked and then took off.

http://www.hitandrunattorney.com/

also, i know it doesn't sound too great but, jbweld works wonders. better than bondo. just throw some hot glue up there, to help scrape off any excess debris or loose paint. use a litte brake fluid to prep the surface and clean with mineral spirits and bleach (50/50). apply jbweld, sand and paint DO NOT use krylon. sorry for your luck, but it's a quick fix.

is not that bad... insurance is not going to replace the whole bumper, they'll take it to certified body shop and fix it.

I don't know if you already have a body shop that you like to go to, but Glamour Auto Body in Norcross and Harbin's Body Shop in Sneilville both do fantastic work at good prices (I've been to both.).

Damn juju, didn't someone key it or something when you first bought it? Talk about bad luck.

Women drivers. If they would only look in both their side mirrors, as well as their rear view mirror, before backing up...
