btw.. get a 370z now if u could. i got my a month ago and love it. although i barely make enough money t make monthly payment.. hehehehehehhe
anyways. i think the 370z is better in term of handling, exterior and interior looks. beside if u gonna buy a used 350z why not get a used 370z. if u are afraid of 350z's issues then get a 370z..

Guys stop feeding the troll, in the thread mentioned above, he posted about going cheaper by filling up his Z with the lowest octane. Now in this thread he's asking about reliability concerns bc he might get one. And in another thread, he asked why his heater wasn't blowing hot air after flushing and refilling his coolant system. Why would he ask about reliability if he already has one.

i really love the look and performance of 350z but now that i went through alota threads on this forum, i doubt in buying a 07 350z. Alot of people were having noise when going over bump or at certain speed from suspension or exhaust bracket. Even though the car is 07 and around 30000 miles, people have trans gear grinding issues. Many ppls says that it still didn't fix after changing 2~3 trans.
Slave cylinder, and airbag recalls. Trunk damper problem.
Etc and Etc. I do not get why 350z owners say that 350z is the best car even though the car has many problems. I think that 350z modifiers won't mind about the problems because they'll be replacing the parts for racing.
Is it just me that 350z is not a reliable car?

The Z is in fact reliable in stock form BTW!

it is a machine consisting of several pieces of metal, plastic and rubber. it will make noises, ware out and fall appart. if you want a car that will never wear tear or take much longer to fall apart then get a... oh wait they all fall appart or wear over time. some quicker than others. the ones that wear slower are much more expensive. relax. they are POS's just like every other POS on the road, its just we enjoy the fun we have with our sh*t while making fun of the sh*t others drive.

OP, one of the best car I've owned with regard to "being there when I needed it"; the reliability factor.
But, frankly the car has its quirks. I burned through tires early on until I squared that feathering issue away. There were some foam pieces that left oil on my windows every time I pulled them up or down until finally they wouldn't go up or down and i had to deal with that.
The driver side seat bolster...well let's just say they chose the wrong fabric. In two years i was in a 10 year old car.
It effing kills my back as a daily driver unless i take my wallet out of my pocket.
The left rear speaker went in and out until I got rid of the stock music.
If it's raining? forget me opening the hatch and it staying up for enough time for me to get out what I need (still flawless on a sunny day).
Nevertheless, when i was a kid I wanted a Z (240 back then) and I own one. and it was fun. and I might buy another. but if a Z is a vehicle to cross of the list.....I'd say do it.
(And I've owned a lot of the cars one marks off the list).
