Default question about 6sp mt

Hope this question fits here, sorry if it doesn't.
I really love my mt but was wondering if it is normal for
the shifter to vibrate slightly when in the neutral position.
The needle on the tack reads a steady 800 rpms.
Thanks in advance have learned a lot about this great from this forum.

yes, it'll even vibrate when under load in gear (when you're actually moving), my 6mt does it and it bugs me.

Direct connect between shifter and trans. Yes - it vibrates.

Why are you looking at the shifter when you should be looking at the road??? The shifter will vibrate slightly even if the OP accidentally get the Z in gear.

I know this is a stretch, but bear with me here....maybe he felt the vibration with his hand, which is usually touching the shifter. Crazy I know.

The Z doesn't move around the world, it moves the world around itself. Like whoa, man.

Not to be concerned. One of our sponsors will recommend an exotic transmission fluid to fix that.

Maybe you should trade for an automatic. The shifter doesn't vibrate, and you don't have to move it around as much.
