Will it fit?? (hockey gear)
Stuck my leg pads in front of the strut bar and the bag in the back of it. Yeah the sticks will scratch the plastic, but the guy who owned my Z before already scratched the plastic. If you're concerned about scratching it you could put a towel over the plastic pieces.
LOL at the guy who said it wouldn't fit. I used to play and two bags, 4 sticks, and a passenger fit fine. There was a guy on one of my teams who had two different Dodge Vipers and managed to fit goalie equipment in a convertible Viper... I even remember seeing a motorcycle with hockey gear strapped to it somehow.

It'll fit, but its tight. Depends on your bag, sticks, personal size etc.
You can fit a lot of stuff back there, but sometimes you have to take things apart, or out of the bag, to get the hatch to close.

I've never had to wedge anything in... I've always had at least one other car as long as I've owned the Z. And the Z is more fun to drive, especially with hockey skates on.
Seriously. If you are choosing your car based on being able to haul something as simple as a hockey bag and sticks, you have a whole different set of issues. I used to haul a 14 piece drum kit around in a mustang, and I've moved twice using my Z. Trust me, there's a lot of ways to fit **** in this car. I wouldn't want to ride in it like that all the time, and it's not a hauling car, but just buy the car and you will learn how to make it work.
I would be more concerned with the fact that you're driving a Z during times when you'll be playing ice hockey. Have fun with rear wheel drive and no traction control in the middle of winter lol
