the 350z and g35 are pretty much exactly alike in engine and performance parts. The difference is the g35 is like a luxury version of the 350z. Quieter exhaust better interior less sporty looking. My opinion stick with the z and just spend money on it.

when i recently purchased my 05 z i had a chance to purchase a 05 g same price... i obviously went with the z. my opinion im not a fan of the g35 at all, it screams "im an old lady with a rich husband" not "im a dude with a midlife crisis" LOL! (jk) the z just looks more of the aggressor, so i'd say stick with it.

I'm pretty sure OP doesn't even care if he got ripped off or not. He didn't even like the RX8, why have something you don't like.. what matters is that he's happy with the trade. Congrats OP. Enjoy the new ride!

Werd! He still has his Z, his girlfriend has her G. If they want to take someone with them they are probably happy.

Don't do it. Save some money, sell yours and buy a nice G.

Keep the z its way more sporty. The g is nice but its not sporty enough for me its more luxary than sport.

Haha this was a tough choice for me too... i was looking at a used 2007 G35 and even sat/test drove in one. it definitely is nicer than the Z interior wise, but the Z just has that much bit more of a sporty feel. and plus, it's only the wife and me for now, so I went with the Z

The G reminds me of a Toyota Supra Turbo that I kept for several years. A little back seat and a nicer interior. It was a good car but not a great car because it weighed 3800 lbs.

If you want a cruiser, you can't go wrong with the G but if you want more sports car feel, the z is the right car for you.

Sounds like the OP got used for a clean title. Get an even trade on a car with a salvage title just so someone else can trade it in for more money? I'd be pissed.
