Default Any follow up on the Headlights fogging up.

Sup..everyone , I just wanted to know if anyone found a resolution to the headlights fogging up. I just picked mine up and it fogged up that night. I think this is ridiculous problem. Nissan should have had this problem solved before releasing it. Fill me in. Thanks.

I would see if it clears up after using the lights for a while. It might be due to changes in pressure and humidity over the car's long voyage, and maybe it's just a temporary thing. When I picked up my car, I noticed a tiny bit of condensation in one corner, but I've never seen it since.

I noticed the condensation too the first night I took it home. I took a 100+ mile drive in the rain yesterday so the headlights were on for a good 2 hours straight... it seems to be gone now.

Z32 headlights tend to fog up if you've been driving in the rain and it's cool out too. It goes away when things warm up. If you're really concerned, then I'd try taking a blow dryer to it and warm up the light housing until it clears up.

It depends on how bad the condensation is. If you've got some huge water drops in there, then I'd be concerned. But if it's just a little fog, then it's probably not going to leave much behind, if anything. Kinda like fogging up the mirrors in the bathroom.. as long as you don't try to wipe at it, and wait for it to clear up, the mirror will be just as clear as they were before fogging up.
