thanks for the comments guys.
the car is falling apart though.
The plastic trim surrounding the rear screen that houses the rear wiper motor is dropping off.
The rear plastic housing that is visible from the rear screen with the big Z in the boot is creaking.
The rear plastic item that holds the 2 speakers and the bose subwoofer is rattling like theres an earthquake.
the door panels. dont get me started.
dont know how it came to be this way but in all fairness, the car IS 8 years old.
Will send her back to my audio installer to take apart all panels, refix them properly and ensure they are secure and soundproof the car. goes in time with the retrimming of the seats and wrapping the whole door panel in leather for a better feel as opposed to that embossed plastic look.
now the new alpine sub is in the standard bose enclosure but at harder thumps or harder bass levels, you can hear the sub banging against the grill.
any option around this?
thanks once again everyone for the kind comments!
will post more pics once the engine is open and the new pistons and rods go in.

Sans your rims, that is a very nice car.
By the way, from what you just described, it sounds like someone who'se never, ever put together audio... no car I've been in that's 8 years old rattled like that, let alone one that was clearly taken care of.
